Scenario:
The largest ISP in Europa has acquired you as their main IPv6 specialist. To ensure connectivity for all customers the ISP has used static tunneling in order to send IPv6 packets through the IPv4 network. They want you to change this and make life a bit easier by creating dynamic tunneling…let’s see if you can nail this one.
Goal:
- All IPv4 and IPv6 addresses have been preconfigured for you.
- Router Pim has a loopback0 interface with the 2001:1::1/64 IPv6 address.
- Router Pet has a loopback0 interface with the 2001:3::3/64 IPv6 address.
- You are not allowed to make any changes on router Pam.
- Configure a tunnel between router Pim and Pet, you are not allowed to specify a “tunnel destination” address.
- Ensure you can ping each other’s loopback0 interfaces on router Pim and Pet through the tunnel interface.
NOTE: If you have trouble calculating the IPv4 address in hexadecimal you can use the ipv6 general-prefix MYPREFIX 6to4 fastethernet0/0 command.
It took me 1000s of hours reading books and doing labs, making mistakes over and over again until I mastered all the routing protocols for CCNP.
Would you like to be a master of routing too? In a short time without having to read 900 page books or google the answers to your questions and browsing through forums?
I collected all my knowledge and created a single ebook for you that has everything you need to know to become a master of routing.
You will learn all the secrets about IPv6, tunneling, migration techniques and more.
Does this sound interesting to you? Take a look here and let me show you how to Master CCNP ROUTE

You need to register to download the GNS3 topology file. (Registration is free!)Once you are logged in you will find the configuration files right here.
The How to Master series helps you to understand complex topics like spanning-tree, VLANs, trunks, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and more.

any body prepared the video for this lab configuration??? If then please upload somewhere and also mention its link. thanks in advance.
anybody prepared the video for this lab then please share with a link. Thanks in advance.
Video solution has ospf running ???
OSPF isn’t running on router PAM(on the .zip), so running ospf on tunneling router wont get ipv4 connectivity, if you can’t alter PAM at all you have to set a default ipv4 route on Pim and Pet.
Thanks learnt alot here though
It doesn’t matter much but if I need quick connectivity I like to use OSPF with the network 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 area 0 statement so everything is advertised.
You can use a routing protocol or a default route for this one.
No download link ? (GNS3 package)
